Crowned with a lovely mini pineapple, the Ananas Comosum 'Elyne Green’ is guaranteed to make a statement, and can even grow up to 90cm! Its tropical origins mean it’s a natural sun-lover, so would be right at home in a bright kitchen. Known as a ‘Pygmy Pineapple’, the fruit is edible - although they are much smaller and bitterer than traditional pineapples. The plant is also air-purifying - so functional as well as funky.

🌞 The pineapple likes fairly bright light, and will thrive in a mixture of bright indirect and some direct sun.

💧 Hailing from Puerto Rico, they want a fair amount of moisture, but not to be sat in soggy soil. Water about once every 10 days, or whenever the soil dries out halfway down.

🌡️ Keep fairly warm, preferably above 15°C

🚫 This plant is mildly toxic and should be kept away from pets.
