Also known as the ‘Orchid Cactus’ or ‘Curly Sue’, the Epiphyllum Guatemalense Monstrose is a tropical jungle cactus that originates from Guatemala, with a flat green leaves that twist and curl as they trail down! This plants comes in a hanging pot, and makes a fab piece for a East or West facing window or for bringing tropical vibes to a well lit room!

🌞 This plant prefers bright indirect light, although it can also be kept in morning or evening sun. Avoid bright midday sun - jungle cacti dislike harsh light!

💧 As a tropical cactus, it requires more water than it's desert counterparts; water every 10-14 days, allowing the top few inches of the soil to dry before watering again. A dry fishbone will go a little wrinkly - but don’t worry, it should bounce back upon watering.

🌫 Jungle epiphytes such as the hurricane cactus enjoy higher humidity, too! This plant will enjoy a spot in a bathroom, or to be situated close to other plants, mimicking it’s natural environment!
