*One-off* Drop-in Repotting Service
Thanks to the success of the repotting workshop we hosted in May, we've had a huge interest in whether we provide a repotting service. We are pleased to announce that, our friend of the Plant Shop, Amy will be joining us once again for a one-off repotting service at the end of this month! There are limited slots, so don't miss the chance to get your plants repotted this season!
Please ensure you don't miss the two day window for your consultation/drop-off, and double-check your plant is pest-free to avoid contaminating any other plants. We will collect your details on the day so we can let you know when your repotted plant is ready to be picked up the following week, or during the consultation we can arrange delivery.
Please note that we can only take one plant per customer and payment will be taken at pick-up. See pricings in our FAQ below.
FAQ
How much will it cost?
Costs will depend on the diameter of the pot, size of the plant, and if you will need any support additions.
Roughly we will charge:
£9 for anything 11cm in diameter or less
£12-£15 for 12-19cm diameter
£16-£20 for 20cm+ diameter
These prices include providing the right soil for your plant, a new plastic pot with drainage, and some TLC. Extras like moss poles cost between £6.50 and £12.50.
How do I know if my plant needs repotting?
Spring and Summer are perfect seasons to repot your plants if they are showing signs that they need repotting. If roots are coming out of the pot's drainage hole, the roots are pot-bound, or if your plant is unstable: these could all be signs to repot.
Can I repot my plant myself?
If you'd like to repot your plant yourself, we sell several different varieties of potting mixes and 3 different sizes of moss poles. All available in-store and online to help you do just that!
Can I bring in my own pot?
If you already have a specific pot you'd like your plant repotted into, that's great! Just bring it along with you to your consultation.
We recommend keeping plant in a pot with drainage, and then displaying this inside a decorative pot in it's home. This is to help avoid overwatering your plant. However, we will happily repot into any pot, preferably a couple sizes bigger than the original pot to allow your plant to grow.
