Araucaria Heterophylla 'Norfolk Pine'
Araucaria Heterophylla 'Norfolk Pine'
The Araucaria Heterophylla, commonly known as the Norfolk Pine, is a coniferous tree with elegant leaves that fan out around its stem. Native to Norfolk Island, this tree is closely related to the Monkey Puzzle tree and grows similar bunches of leaves, giving it a fuzzy appearance! Despite their appearance, this tropical plant is not technically a pine so they dislike the cold. Keep indoors this winter for an alternative Christmas tree!

🌞 This plant will thrive best in bright, indirect light, and would also enjoy a couple of hours of direct sun!
💧 Water once every 1-2 weeks, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.
🌡️ Norfolk pines are not tolerant to cold and should be kept in a warm spot indoors, away from drafts.
🌫 This tropical tree enjoys high humidity, so regular misting is recommended to keep them looking their best. Alternatively, keep in the bathroom to add a lovely green vibe.
🚫Unfortunately, this plant is mildly toxic and should be kept away from pets.
