Christmas Cactus
Christmas Cactus
Schlumbergera Bridgesii, also known as Christmas Cacti, are native to Brazil and super popular as houseplants for their winter flowering! They feature ridged, dark-green leaves and bloom beautiful bright flowers between November and January. Perfect for a bright windowsill, this plant is very easy to care for and propagate, making for a thoughtful gift.
Choose between two colours (in picture order): Pink/Peach or White.
Please note, that stages of bloom and colour may vary.
π This plant prefers bright indirect light, although it can also be kept in the morning or evening sun. Avoid bright midday sun - jungle cacti dislike harsh light! Christmas Cacti can tolerate lower light, however this may affect the amount of flowers they produce.
π§ As a tropical cactus, it requires more water than its desert counterparts; water every 10-14 days, allowing most of the soil to dry before watering again. A dry Christmas Cactus will go a little wrinkly - but donβt worry, it should bounce back upon watering.
π‘οΈ Cacti like warm temperatures, however, this plant needs colder temperatures to bloom! Though they canβt tolerate frost.
πΎ This beauty is non-toxic and suitable for pet owners!
