Epiphyllum Anguliger, also known as the ‘Fishbone Cactus’ or ‘Zig Zag Cactus’, this plant is a tropical forest cactus that originates from Mexico. It has flat green leaves that trail and a distinctive zig-zag shape! This houseplant makes a fab piece for an East or west-facing window or for bringing tropical vibes to a well-lit room! This specimen comes in a hanging pot.
🌞 This plant prefers bright indirect light, although it can also be kept in the morning or evening sun. Avoid bright midday sun - jungle cacti dislike harsh light!
💧 As a tropical cactus, it requires more water than its desert counterparts; water every 10-14 days, allowing the top few inches of the soil to dry before watering again. A dry fishbone will go a little wrinkly - but don’t worry, it should bounce back upon watering.
