Sansevieria Futura
Also called a ‘Snake Plant’ or ‘Mother-in-Law’s Tongue’, this plant is a survivor! It is super hardy and very forgiving of neglect. Plus, it has stunning sword-like foliage in a mottled pattern. Sansevieria are also great at removing toxins from the air in your home! Unlike many air-purifying plants, which release carbon dioxide at night in the absence of sunlight, this plant continues producing oxygen at all hours, making it ideal for bedroom spaces.
🌞 The lovely succulent grows best in bright but scattered light, and is tolerant to some shade, too. It doesn’t mind a bit of morning or evening sun, but harsh midday sun is best avoided.
💧 Like most succulents, water deeply approximately every 3 weeks, when the top couple inches of the soil feel dry. It is best to water from the bottom, by allowing the plant to sit in a tray of water for around 30 minutes to soak up what it needs.
🚫 This plant can be toxic, so keep away from pets.
