The Philodendron Melanochrysum is a rare plant, sought after because of its beautiful, heart-shaped leaves with a vivid dark green colourway and velvet finish. This epiphyte is a climber, and its leaves have veining that becomes more prominent as they mature. They also grow longer, more pointed leaves as they grow bigger. It is sometimes known as the Black Gold Philodendron and is sure to add a tropical statement to your home.

🌞 Bright but indirect sunlight is ideal for fast growth - avoid direct sun, as this can scorch the leaves.

💧 Water when the top layer of soil is dry. Hailing from the tropics, this philodendron can handle a little neglect, but they don’t like to dry out too much. Regular mistings or a space with moderate humidity is best!

🛋️ This plant will look amazing as a statement piece on your coffee table, or as a centrepiece in your dining room.
