Areca Palms, or Dypsis Lutescens, are also known as bamboo palms. Native to Madagascar, this palm features long thin leaves on densely clustered stems at the base, bringing a tropical feel to any home. They are also known as 'butterfly palms' for their leaves curve outwards in a butterfly wing shape!
🌞 Bright indirect light is best for keeping this plant happy, but they can tolerate some shade.
💧 Water approximately weekly; these palms enjoy lightly moist soil during the growing season. During winter, allow the soil to dry a few inches down before re-watering.
