Strelitzia Reginae
Also known as Bird of Paradise, Strelitzia Reginae can grow to 5-6ft and produces beautiful flowers if cared for correctly. They earn their nicknamed from their flowers that, when fully bloomed, look like the head of an orange bird! It has lovely, dark green foliage and brings very tropical vibes to any indoor space. Different from Strelitzia Nicolai, this plant is distinct for their paddle-shaped leaves. These babies can withstand brighter light than many other lush tropicals, making them an ideal choice for sprucing up a well-lit room.
🌞 Native to sunny South-Eastern Africa, It enjoys lots of bright light; mostly bright but indirect light, with some direct sun, is preferable.
💧 Moist soil is important for this plant to flourish; water approximately every 10 days, or whenever the top couple inches of soil is dry. Ensure the soil underneath does not dry out to avoid damaging the foliage and slowing growth.
